This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage technologies used on the adtouchlabsturkiye.com website operated by ADTOUCH LABS TÜRKİYE BİLGİ TEKNOLOJİLERİ TİC. LTD. ŞTİ. (“AdTouch Labs” or the “Company”). It has been prepared in line with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Personal Data Protection Authority’s Guide on Cookie Practices. For details of the personal data processed through cookies, please see our Privacy Notice (KVKK). The Turkish version of this policy is the legally binding version.
1. What Are Cookies and Browser Storage Technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They may be set by the website operator (first-party cookies) or by another party that provides content or services on the website (third-party cookies). Cookies deleted when you close your browser are session cookies; those that remain on your device for a set period are persistent cookies.
Browser storage technologies (localStorage and sessionStorage) allow information to be stored in your browser in a similar way to cookies. Unlike cookies, this information is not automatically sent to the server with every request. Data saved in localStorage remains in the browser until you delete it; data saved in sessionStorage is deleted when the browser tab is closed. In this policy, “cookies” includes these technologies unless stated otherwise.
2. Our Principles for Using Cookies
- Strictly necessary cookies and necessary browser storage entries are required for the website to function and to provide the service you request, so they do not depend on your consent. They rely on Article 5(2)(c) (conclusion or performance of a contract) and Article 5(2)(f) (legitimate interest) KVKK.
- Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your explicit consent under Article 5(1) KVKK. Unless you consent, these cookies are not set and the related tags do not write cookies.
- The cookie banner offers accept and reject options with equal prominence, and no pre-ticked boxes are used. Rejecting cookies does not prevent you from using the core functions of the website.
- Your choice is valid for 12 months; you will be asked again at the end of that period or if there is a material change to this policy.
3. Cookies We Use
The durations in the tables below are typical values; for third-party cookies, durations may vary by provider and may be updated by the providers from time to time.
3.1. Strictly necessary cookies and browser storage
| Name | Provider / type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| adt_sid | AdTouch Labs / first-party session cookie | Created only when you fill in a form, use the cart or log in. Identifies your session and links, on the server side, the cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection token, cart contents and login status. | Until the browser is closed; the server-side session expires after a period of inactivity. |
| adt_consent | AdTouch Labs / localStorage | Stores your cookie choice (whether you consented to analytics and marketing cookies), the date of your choice and the policy version, so you are not asked on every page. | You are asked again after 12 months; the entry remains in the browser until you delete it. |
| adt_src | AdTouch Labs / sessionStorage | Temporarily stores where you came from (UTM parameters, click identifiers such as gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, yclid and msclkid, landing page and referring page). It is not shared with third parties and is sent to us only together with a form you submit. | Until the browser tab is closed. |
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare / first-party (set by Cloudflare) | Distinguishes bots from human visitors to protect the website from automated attacks. | 30 minutes (may vary by provider). |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare / first-party (set by Cloudflare) | Records that you have passed a security check, so it is not requested again. | Usually between 30 minutes and 1 year depending on the site’s security settings (may vary by provider). |
| _cfuvid | Cloudflare / first-party (set by Cloudflare) | Ensures rate-limiting rules are applied correctly between users sharing the same IP address. | For the session (may vary by provider). |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Cloudflare / third-party (challenges.cloudflare.com) | Performs bot verification on forms. Browser and device signals may be processed during verification, and Cloudflare may use temporary storage on its own domain. | For the duration of the verification (may vary by provider). |
3.2. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
| Name | Provider / type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 / first-party | Assigns a random identifier to distinguish visitors statistically. | 2 years (may vary by provider). |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics 4 / first-party | Stores session state and session count. | 2 years (may vary by provider). |
| _ym_uid | Yandex Metrica / first-party | Assigns a unique identifier to distinguish visitors statistically. | 1 year (may vary by provider). |
| _ym_d | Yandex Metrica / first-party | Stores the date of the first visit. | 1 year (may vary by provider). |
| _ym_isad | Yandex Metrica / first-party | Determines whether an ad blocker is present in the browser. | 20 hours (may vary by provider). |
| yandexuid and similar | Yandex / third-party | Visitor recognition and statistics across Yandex services. | Up to 1 year (may vary by provider). |
Google Analytics 4 does not log IP addresses. Yandex Metrica’s session recording feature (Webvisor) is not used on our website.
3.3. Marketing cookies (only with your consent)
| Name | Provider / type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads / first-party | Links ad clicks to conversions on the website (e.g. form submission, purchase). | 90 days (may vary by provider). |
| _gcl_aw | Google Ads / first-party | Stores the click identifier (gclid) when you arrive by clicking a Google ad. | 90 days (may vary by provider). |
| IDE, ar_debug and similar | Google (doubleclick.net) / third-party | Ad delivery, measurement and personalisation. | Up to 13 months (may vary by provider). |
| _fbp | Meta Pixel / first-party | Identifies the browser for measuring Meta ads and building audiences. | 90 days (may vary by provider). |
| _fbc | Meta Pixel / first-party | Stores the click identifier (fbclid) when you arrive by clicking a Meta ad. | 90 days (may vary by provider). |
| fr and similar | Meta (facebook.com) / third-party | Ad delivery, measurement and serving relevant ads. | 90 days (may vary by provider). |
Google Tag Manager is a tool that manages the loading of the tags above; it does not set cookies itself and only fires tags in the categories you have consented to. Any other analytics or marketing tags that may be added to our website also run only after your consent.
4. Google Consent Mode
Our website works with Google Consent Mode v2. Unless you consent, the analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization signals are set to “denied”; Google tags then do not write cookies to your device or read existing ones. When you change your preferences, these signals are updated accordingly.
Depending on the website’s configuration, Google tags may load without cookies even if you have not consented. In that case only limited, cookieless technical signals (e.g. that a page was loaded, a timestamp, browser information and, inherent to the request, the IP address) may be sent to Google; these signals are not used to identify you or to show interest-based ads.
5. Managing Your Preferences
5.1. On the website
In the cookie banner shown on your first visit you can accept or reject all optional cookies, or choose the analytics and marketing categories separately in the settings. You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal; you can delete cookies already set through your browser settings.
5.2. In your browser
You can view, delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, functions such as forms, the cart and login may not work.
- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies / Delete browsing data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data / Manage Data.
- Safari (macOS): Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data.
- Safari (iOS): Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data.
- Android (Chrome): Chrome > Settings > Privacy and security > Delete browsing data.
localStorage and sessionStorage entries are also deleted with your browser’s “clear site data” options. Menu names may differ depending on the browser version.
5.3. Provider tools
- Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Google ad settings: myadcenter.google.com
- Meta ad preferences: facebook.com/adpreferences
- Yandex Metrica opt-out: yandex.com/support/metrica/general/opt-out.html
6. Third Parties and International Transfers
Data collected through analytics and marketing cookies is processed by Google, Meta and Yandex, and security data by Cloudflare. These providers may process data on servers abroad. International transfers are carried out under the mechanisms in Article 9 KVKK as amended by Law No. 7499 (adequacy decision, the standard contract announced by the Board and other appropriate safeguards, or occasional transfer exceptions). Where these providers also process data for their own purposes, their own privacy policies apply.
7. Your Rights and Contact
Information on your rights under Article 11 KVKK and how to exercise them is available in our Privacy Notice (KVKK). For questions about cookies, please write to info@adtouchlabsturkiye.com.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when the cookies we use or the applicable legislation change. If a new optional cookie category is added, we will ask for your consent again.
